Automation

The API Gateway (machine-to-machine transfer gateway) can take source documents in various forms — both individual and bulk — issue Czech PDK delivery notes from them and deliver them to the recipient. Suitable for regular operation without manual involvement.

How it works

  • The supplier's server prepares the input file (from accounting, ERP or middleware) and sends it automatically to the API gateway.
  • The gateway validates the file, converts it to the required PDK format and delivers it to the recipient.
  • On error, both the supplier's server and our support team receive a machine-readable response with details.

Delivery to the recipient

The resulting file is delivered to the recipient automatically. In addition to standard channels — MEDIDATA e-kurýr (also written eKurýr), delivery API gates, shared storage and e-mail addresses — we support recipient-specific solutions on demand.

Invoices, orders and EDI

Delivery notes are not the only documents passing through the gateway. We can also take an invoice as the source document — in ISDOC, as an EDI INVOIC message, or as an export from your accounting system. In the opposite direction we take electronic orders from the customer. If you already run EDI, we work with DESADV, INVOIC and ORDERS messages.

Connecting systems

The gateway is not only a one-way file intake. A substantial part of our work is connecting two systems so that they exchange data on their own — by calling APIs on both sides, through webhooks (an event in one system triggers an action in the other), by scheduled pickup from shared storage, or by processing mail. We pick the technology the other side can handle, not the other way round.

The gateway's own API is documented and versioned; we supply the current documentation, in Czech and English, during onboarding.
